FAQs
In order to provide the best indication of conditions and recommendations for support, Censeo carries out an in-depth assessment. The assessment adapts to the answers you have already provided, asking further questions according to your responses. Because of this, the number of questions asked will not be the same for every user.
No, Censeo saves your answers immediately. If you close the assessment or lose internet connection at any point, you will be able to start the session again exactly where you left it. You can even start it on one device and then log in and continue on another device.
Yes, you will need to complete all the question sessions in the assessment. Censeo cannot create your mental health report if we don’t have all the information required.
No. Censeo’s recommendations should not be taken as a diagnosis and should not replace seeking professional medical advice.
Your answers will be saved indefinitely. We recommend you take as many breaks during the assessment as you feel you need. However, if it has been longer than four weeks since you paused your assessment, we do recommend you begin again, so that your answers are as accurate as possible. Some mental health symptoms change over time and you may want to answer previous questions differently.
There are different ways to access Censeo and the eligibility criteria depends on how you are accessing the service.
If you are using Censeo through an NHS service:
You must be aged over 18 and living in an area where Censeo is available through the NHS. Your local NHS service may have additional criteria in place for using the assessment, however this will be checked when you create an account.
If you are using Censeo as an individual:
You must be aged 18 or over and a resident in England, Wales or Scotland.
People under 18
Users must be over 18 to complete the assessment. This is because people that are under 18 need a specialist child or adolescents’ tailored assessment or advice.
People over 65
The Censeo assessment has been developed by mental healthcare professionals, primarily for adults aged up to 65. This is because people that are aged 65 or over would benefit from a more specialist assessment, that takes into account conditions and factors that can often affect older adults. However, anyone over 65 may complete the assessment as an individual and use the information provided for general understanding, to support further exploring of ways to improve their mental wellbeing.
